Con tanto genio de la mecánica rotativa que hay en Puerto Rico, uno pensaría que aquí jamás se desperdiciaría ni un solo carro con el famoso motor de triángulos. Sin embargo, aquí tenemos un lindo Mazda RX-7 de los primeros años de la primera generación al que ya nadie le hace caso. Una lástima, porque a pesar del muzgo, la caja se ve bien cuadradita y en buenas condiciones. Es como para echarse a llorar. Habría que ver cómo estarán esos interiores y en qué condiciones estará ese motor.

Este carro lo fotografié hace muchísimos años en el centro de la Isla y no sé si todavía exista. ¿Sabe alguno de ustedes sobre su paradero? ¿Alguien lo reconoce?

¿Que harían  ustedes con este RX-7? ¿Cuál sería el veredicto? ¿Restauración, donante de piezas… o para la aplanadora?

We flew into San Javier and hired a car from the airport for the short drive to Bolnuevo. The beaches are clean, most of them awarded the Blue Flag. The cafes were great, with paella on the beach a delight and managed a day on the nudist beach there. Very liberating. We also visited the Big Guns, The Roman Mines and the Sand sculptures.
